Phil has been an educator for over 20 years having worked in Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan. He previously worked as a special education needs consultant, a teacher, and a school counsellor in public and international schools. He currently works as a school counsellor in Tokyo. He received his degree from Queen's University (Ontario, Canada), his teaching degree from the University of Toronto, and his MA in Counselling from the University of South Australia.
