Homemade Soft Pretzels (Karen Lee Mah in Los Angeles, CA)
Call it “COVID baking”. My daughter who is home from college started baking during the pandemic. We love her pretzels! I help roll them out and twist into shape! Try them with a homemade cheddar cheese sauce for dipping!
This summer my older daughter is sheltering in the UK at grad school where she is busy with her dissertation and looking for a job. My younger daughter (the one who makes the pretzels) was able to continue with her social media work, and my son started freelancing working on graphic art and taught himself to play the keyboard. I am praying all goes well at the college drop offs (New York and Illinois) next week :0!
