How can Schools actively support the Black community?
We thought of some ideas...
Encourage Blacks to go into teaching
Schools could proactively recruit Black teachers, professors, and guest lecturers
Private and charter schools could proactively recruit and support Black students
Curriculum should focus more time on teaching students about Black history, civil rights, Black artists and their art
Reading lists should include novels that teach all students about race relations
Clubs and publications could be established that celebrate Black culture
Schools and communities could introduce and encourage more Blacks to go into medicine, law, and STEM
Africa could prominently be featured in study abroad programs, similar to how Europe is heavily promoted
Any other ideas?
