Stacey Kinnamon

Stacey has worked in the education field for the last decade having worked as the Director of Special Education Needs at an educational consulting company where she placed hundreds of students globally in specialized and mainstream day schools, boarding schools, and colleges. Previously, she was an attorney for a decade before her career change to education, due to her experience parenting her son with special needs. She has taught in a public-school setting and has privately tutored elementary students in math, writing, and literacy, using her Orton Gillingham training. She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a JD from New York University and a M. Ed from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. As a former expat, Stacey lived in London with her family and currently enjoys travelling with her adult children, reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with her dogs. A relatively recent New York City transplant, she is enjoying living outside Boston and exploring the New England area.
