Royce Chen

Royce has tutored professionally for over a decade, starting in high school by helping classmates prepare for the SAT. Royce then attended Columbia University, where he studied Python and earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Computer Science. After graduating, he returned to tutoring, helping students in every level of math and science, along with test prep. He also guides students through their college applications and essays. Royce connects well with students and makes them feel comfortable while working through challenging problems and concepts. In his free time, Royce volunteers at the Palos Verdes Intermediate School math club, and enjoys strength training and tabletop gaming. Royce is also fluent in Mandarin.
