Jana Summers

Jana has been working in education for over 20 years as a teacher, curriculum leader, curriculum writer and consultant. She has worked and lived in southern and northern California, Chile and has been settled in the Netherlands for the past 12 years where she has worked in various international schools. As a teacher of children in primary in the international school system, she has experience with helping families make the appropriate school choices for their children transitioning into secondary school. Jana received two bachelor’s degrees from UCLA in Communication Studies and Sociology, a multiple subjects teaching credential from CSU East Bay and a Master's in Education with a specialisation in Equality and Diversity from the Open University. In her free time Jana enjoys reading, gardening, roller-skate dancing and rock climbing.
