Helen Senter

Originally from Scotland, Helen holds a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and brings extensive experience in admissions, teaching, and educational writing. Having lived, worked, and raised children across three continents, she offers a truly global perspective on supporting families in transition. Helen’s career includes teaching English at a prominent juku (Japanese after-school academy) in Tokyo, and teaching in the Early Years department at an international school in New York City then moving into school admissions. Her background in teaching and curriculum design informs a thoughtful, child-centered approach to school placement and family guidance. Now based in Connecticut, Helen enjoys upholstery, scuba diving, and refining her Japanese language skills.
